You will need:
 
Masking tape (optional for border)
Watercolour paper (300gsm cold pressed)
Wax resist crayon or masking fluid
Watercolours (pans or tubes - any colour combos can be used, you don't have to use the same colours in the video)
Brushes (a round brush)
Table salt
