This striking acrylic seascape captures the final crescendo of daylight as the sun kisses the sea. Fiery oranges and bold reds blaze across the canvas, diffusing into softer lilacs, teals, and sapphire blues. The sky swirls with dramatic energy, while the ocean below mirrors the radiance with luminous, fluid strokes. It's a moment of fierce beauty — bold, fleeting, and unforgettable.
Earlier this year, I received a diagnosis of colorectal cancer, and the treatment has been incredibly challenging. During my recovery periods, I've found solace and purpose in creating these loose acrylic pieces, adapting my technique to work even with gloves.
With this new collection, I aim to highlight the growing concern of colorectal cancer, particularly its rise among younger adults.
